A 3-Room Apartment in Ramat Gan facing Park Hayarkon
What's the Story?
Shlomit owned a beautiful apartment overlooking the Yarkon Park, the kind of flat that very seldom comes on the market. Therefore, we agreed together that the price should be higher than normal. There was a renter living in the apartment who went to work every day, so we could show the flat only early in the mornings or in the evenings. This meant we lost the impact of the view of Yarkon Park. There is nothing like the first impression when seeing a new apartment! I explained to Shlomit that we had to show the flat in the afternoons. She could show the flat herself, even when her renter was not present. We gained the cooperation of the renter and succeeded in showing the park along with the flat – which was an integral part of the selling price. In the end, the apartment was purchased by a satisfied couple.
Real Estate Tip
An experienced agent knows how to identify various factors which are liable to block achieving maximum value of your apartment. What may seem to sellers as marginal may actually be one of the major factors in selling the flat, like broadening the potential hours for showing. Good relations with the renter living in the flat enables flexibility for the seller.
In Shlomit’s words
“I met Ran on a friend’s recommendation. After a single meeting in which I was impressed by his professionalism, we agreed that he would be my exclusive agent to sell my apartment. Throughout the entire process, Ran was responsive to my requests and sensitive to my vacillations, advised me professionally and calmly, and helped me reduce the pressure attached to the process of selling a property. Extraordinary to the norm in the real estate market, he never forced his opinion on me. He was always open and straightforward. When there was a potential buyer, Ran managed the negotiations with him, updated me at every stage, and helped to resolve differences of opinion that arose before signing the contract. I warmly recommend Ran. I have no doubt that whoever contracts for his assistance will get professional, trustworthy, and courteous service.”
